Join Irene Rasetti for an inspiring class on the art of floral bundle dyeing. This fun and aesthetically pleasing workshop will take you on the artful approach to creating lovely patterns on fiber by using flowers, and other natural materials you can find in your home and garden. No previous experience is necessary as this is an introductory course.
We will begin by learning about different fibres and how they interact with natural colour, and how to treat your fabric to take on the dye. We will then dive into exploration by creating our own personalized sample swatches. After viewing our results each participant will create a silk scarf of his or her own creation.
All materials will be provided along with a list of resources and books for further exploration for your natural dye journey.
Shipping and handling fees apply to all orders. We ship with Canada Post in 6 business days, to Canadian destinations, and a tracking number is provided. If you are ordering multiple items charges may vary. Please inform us at the time your order is placed if you require your shipment to be expedited.
