CUSTOM BEDDING ORDER PROCESS

CONSULTATION
Our custom bedding projects begins with an in studio or online consultation to review bedding styles, colourways and base cloths. Following the consultation a client will receive a work order from The Studio, outlining the project. Upon the clients approval, a 50% deposit is required at the time an order is placed.

CUSTOM COLOURWAY/BESPOKE COLOUR MATCHING
The Studio provides bespoke colour mixing services for all custom bedding projects. Prior to an order going into production, a colour strike-off/sample print is provided for client approval. 

BEDDING BASE CLOTH
Our bedding base cloth is sourced within Canada and is GOTS* and Oeko-Tex* certified linen. Fabrics are scoured or cleaned and preshrunk before printing.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The Studio makes conscious material choices and is aware of impacts on the environment.

We use a water-based pigment printing system that is low in VOC’s and does not contain PVC or Phthalates, nor do we use solvents or harsh chemicals during clean up. Furthermore, a wash out filter keeps excess pigment waste from entering the waste water system.

PRINT
All fabrics are silkscreen printed by hand in our boutique, small scale textile printing studio in Calgary. While The Studio strives for printing perfection, those slight nuances that happen when a product is made by hand are a part of its innate beauty and a witness to the makers’ touch.  Printed fabrics are heat set, making them machine washable and easy to care for.

PRODUCTION
For custom furnishings and linens; flat pattern drafting, revisions, cutting and finishing are managed In Studio; while sewing is outsourced within Calgary. We pride ourselves in small production runs and supporting our local community of woman owned small businesses.

LEAD TIMES
We ask that our clients be prepared for a 4 – 6 week lead time from when a strike-off is approved to receiving their order.   Times may vary depending on the scope of your project and batch production with our sewing room. Be mindful that handmade products take time. The Studio cares about the quality of our work and are thoughtful in how it is produced.

SHIPPING

Shipping and handling fees apply to all orders. We ship with Canada Post in 6 business days, to Canadian destinations, and a tracking number is provided. If you are ordering multiple items charges may vary. Please inform us at the time your order is placed if you require your shipment to be expedited. Shipping fees will be quoted at the time of ordering.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All Natalie Gerber merchandise is quality guaranteed, if you are not satisfied with your purchase please let us know.

Merchandise returned must be unused and in new condition to be eligible for a refund or exchange. Your refund will be credited back to the original method of payment. A credit will be posted to your account approximately two days after the date of processing. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement.
